Culture is often described as something that simply happens to an organisation. This session argued the opposite: that culture is the accumulated result of decisions leaders make every day, and that it can be shaped on purpose.
Shri Britto K drew on his work at Delta Electronics to show how deliberate design of rituals, reward systems, communication norms and leadership behaviour produces a culture that supports business performance rather than working against it.
Members took away practical questions to ask of their own organisations — what behaviour is actually being rewarded, what the induction experience signals, and where stated values and lived practice have drifted apart.
The session closed with a networking dinner.
