Held alongside the Chapter’s two-day workshop with XLRI, this monthly meeting took up the relationship between the quality of employee relations and an organisation’s capacity to grow.
Prof. Santanu Sarkar argued that healthy employee relations are not merely an absence of disputes but an active asset — one that shows up in productivity, retention, willingness to adopt change and the speed at which problems surface and get solved.
The session drew on research and case material relevant to manufacturing settings of the kind that dominate the Hosur industrial belt.
